Position Title: Partnerships Researcher
Position Description: JRF is eager to welcome a well learned, creative and motivated team member to take up the portfolio of Partnerships Researcher. • JAIPUR has come a long way in the last three decades since its Founder – Mr. N. K.Chaudhary started his journey. JAIPUR is very active is the field of poverty alleviation through skill development initiatives so as to transform the unskilled poor into skilled artisans in the carpet value chain, while ensuring their sustainable livelihoods. Thus, a number of possibilities for partnerships and award nomination exist wherein diverse stakeholders can get involved and take forward the great work, together, in a number of innovative ways.
• The position holder will be responsible for raising funds through the development and implementation of effective and ethical Partnership strategy, that will cover four main areas of partnership mapping, lobbying, raising and mobilizing funds in line with organization’s vision.
The duties and responsibilities for the same include:
• Independent research and donor mapping in which the incumbent is required to search, compile and maintain a database of international and local donor organizations like bilateral and multilateral agencies, international foundations, private corporations especially in light of corporate social responsibility provisions in various countries and government bodies
• Identification of needs and areas for organization interventions as well as continuous monitoring of donor websites in order to identify and inform donor opportunities matching the vision, mandate and work of JRF
• Assist the Partnership Manager to develop a partnership strategy for JRF, which includes writing concept notes, project ideas and project proposals as well as to ensure their timely submission. The incumbent will work towards raising funds for JRF’s activities in accordance with the developed partnership strategy
• Undertake independent research in finding alternative resources for long-term Partnership for the organization and suggest other innovative ideas for effective resource mobilization. |

• The position holder will convert the rich ideas for such innovative partnerships and associations into concept notes and discussion papers for ready reference and further uptake.
• The exploration of such new partnership opportunities will be an ongoing process and will require a good deal of research and outreach to be steered continuously. The identified interventions will be prioritized for action as per their relevance.
• The person will undertake comprehensive research on the different multi-stakeholder and cross-sectoral partnerships that are getting evolved across the world on similar lines.
Spearheading Partner Engagement
• For every prioritized intervention theme, the person will identify suitable (prospective) partners and awarders and reach out to them with the credentials of JAIPUR.
• Such engagement efforts will include the detailing and Developing of award applications, concept notes, project proposals capturing the rationale, innovation, modus operandi, implementation team, and financials etc. as per the need. The person is, therefore, expected to be well experienced and proficient in detailing out such documents.
• Such work will require working independently as well as in consultation with the branding and communications team of the organization so as to capture the latest activities and innovative practices in the documents.
• Such engagement be a continuous process and will take different forms of engagement |
